This Mama asked me to come into their home and document their life of love.
Some of their favorite activities are playing the piano and dancing, jumping on the trampoline, storytime with Dad, and snuggles with Mama. Those were absolutely must-capture moments. And they were so joyful.
There was one more must-capture moment that was much more emotional. Baby Caleb is fighting heart failure and must take a bowl-full of medication daily. It’s a family activity. Big brother Jaryn is the biggest helper.
This family is fighting a battle with grace and with love and ironically with gratitude. When I asked this Mama what she wants to remember in twenty years, she said the gratitude that they feel to be together as a family. They are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside.
I hope that through these photographs you see a home that is overflowing with happiness and love. I also hope their story is a reminder that each day is a gift. No matter how difficult or simple life seems at the moment, love the ones your are with and make the most out of every single day.
