Job Summary:
Melanie Applegate Photography is looking for a candidate to join her creative team. This candidate will take ownership over growing the founder’s personal brand and social media presence. This team member will primarily be responsible for content creation, scheduling, storyboarding, monitoring and posting on social media as well engaging with the online community.
Professional Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a relevant major, such as Social Media Marketing, Mass Communications, Communication Management, Advertising, Marketing Research, Public Relations or Sales Management
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute social media campaigns
Increase amount of posting brand awareness and following on Instagram and Facebook
Create a YouTube channel
Create a Pinterest profile
Develop, create and post engaging, branded content directly with Melanie weekly to determine a strategy
4-6 Instagram and Facebook posts a week with a schedule
Increase subscribers and activity on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest
1-2 edited, finalized, and posted Youtube Video per week (each 3-10 minutes long)
Video editing
Engage with users and encourage conversation in a timely manner
Diligently research current, relevant trends
Create 1-2 blog posts per week
Innovative, self-starter who can meet commitments to deadline
Strong communication/writing/editing skills
Creative thinker, communicate content/copy in a unique and engaging way
Understanding of the workings of social channels listed above
Familiarity with programs like Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other image-editing related tools
Create and schedule 2 email newsletters per month

Up to $500 per month
